Bones Brigade Basketball

So a new era has begun with the Bones Brigade basketball team invading Past Your Prime Basketball in Guelph. As the founder of the team, Corey Hundt, would call the team, "The Kitchener/Waterloo Rep team. There's only two players actually from Guelph.

The season started of well, winning our first two games by 20 pts each. Playing some weaker teams helped us gel a little bit before moving on to play some of the powerhouse teams.

Last night we ended up playing one a strong team and as I told our team after the game, we looked like deer caught in the headlights for the first 3-4mins or so. It started off rough with the other team fast breaking on us, making us look silly. After they took an early 12-14 pt lead we were able to cut it down to 4pts in the later part of the first half, and that would be as close as we would get. We eventually lost 59-47. It was a good wake up call for the team and hopefully it lights a fire.
